Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance do I have to register? It is recommended that you register as early as possible, ideally as soon as the actual date of birth is known. This way, the stay can be planned in detail according to your individual wishes.

My baby is already a few weeks old at the time I booked, can I still come? Even if your baby is already a few weeks old at the time I booked, you can still come - up to 8 weeks after birth.

Can my partner visit me? Your partner can visit you at any time. Ideally, you should discuss the visits with us first so that we can plan our care around them as best as possible.

Can I receive visitors? Visitors are welcome at certain visiting times by arrangement. It is important that you have the opportunity to relax and unwind. We therefore recommend that you keep visits to a minimum as much as possible.

Can my older child stay overnight? Older children are generally not allowed to stay overnight unless it has been arranged in advance. It is recommended that this is discussed with the retreat team in advance.

Will my stay be covered by your health insurance? The services are not covered by my health insurance. You will have to bear the costs yourself.

What additional services do you offer? In addition to the parent workshops, the Postnatal Retreat also offers other services such as relaxation courses, nutritional advice or massages. These additional services can help to make your stay even more pleasant and relaxing. It is recommended that you find out about the available services in advance and make appropriate appointments if necessary.

What do I need to bring for myself and my baby? We provide you with the usual hygiene materials that you need after giving birth. We have clothes, diapers, bottles, pacifiers, etc. on site for your baby. If your child is bottle fed, we ask you to bring these with you. We can also get them for you for an additional charge. We recommend that you bring your own stroller or baby carrier.
